Blog: High Wire Rope Course

Height challenge number three down! WOW I really enjoyed Whenua iti Outdoor Pursuits, I admit it was scary up on the high ropes and my legs were shaking, but I got up there and just thought, stuff it I'm just going to enjoy it, feel the fear and do it anyway. The leap of faith was so intense, just before I jumped I had a slight hesitation then I remembered an activity we do on Discovery that explores the concept of 100% and realised I just needed to jump, give it everything I had with no hesitation, and I made it! I can't describe to you the adrenaline that went through my body in that moment, I felt alive! I am definitely becoming much more comfortable with heights! This is what this is all about, 30 Fears was and is about becoming comfortable being uncomfortable, about stretching my comfort zone so I no longer let my perceived fears affect how I approach life. I feel really energised now, pumped and excited about the next challenge! Blind run lets go!
